III. Notes

Notes Introduction

Realizing that my time will soon come to an end, I decided to set up an Internet site with, amongst others, the purpose to motivate myself and rationalize my efforts to complete work up to a reasonable level on a number of (not only technical) topics in which I was involved privately as a dilettante. I have some incomplete draft notes on a few different themes, which I intend to complete, without being able to give them the finishing touch of a paper with respect to the language, the up to date terminology, the last technical research information and bibliographical analysis and without having the time to wait for the completion of a reasonable referee cycle. These notes are also a chance for me, to bring some less usual viewpoints in areas in which I am not specialized and in which an active professional cannot afford or even attempt to publicize without being at risk in his position or career. It is likely that others may have had similar thoughts, but they did not dare to publicly doubt about -or contradict common consensus. Just the seed of a doubt in the mind of a genius, who may in the end come to a conclusion which may not only differ from my humble opinion but also from that common consensus is a potential positive result, which would make my efforts worthwhile. All depends on the usable time I still can invest. Only God knows, and I don’t dare to doubt about that. Written the twenty second of March 2009.

Xmas 2013 is less than one month ahead and I’m still alive, but activity and productivity have seriously slowed down since March 2009. I try to do my best in closing hopeless undertakings and make potentially useful notes readable even if not completed.
